Evolution

The dance industry responded with a commercial, studio-based version of hip-hop sometimes called new style. Classically trained dancers developed these studio styles in order to create choreography from the hip-hop dances that were performed on the street. Because of this development, hip-hop dance is practiced in both dance studios and outdoor spaces. be a dance form of entertainment or a hobby. It can also be a way to stay active in competitive dance and a way to make a living by dancing professionally. Hip hop can be found online, in movies, on the streets, in the theaters, in TV commerications, in esscens, just about everywhere. It is the most widelt known and used dance form than any other.

Movies

The entertainment industry has been largely responsible for introducing hip-hop dance to mainstream audiences around the world. The first hip-hop films Wild Style, Beat Street, and Breakin' were made in the 1980s. Wild Style was the first movie centered around hip-hop culture; however, Flashdance was the first commercially released film to feature breaking. Beat Street introduced breaking, graffiti writing, and turntables to parts of Europe. Breakin' and Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo brought the funk styles, locking, popping, and waacking to the cinema. All of these movies and documentaries are examples of films where the plot and theme surround hip-hop dance and how it affects the characters' lives.
